Is Citroen C3 going to punch the market of Tata Punch(Citreon C3 vs Tata Punch

So is it right that Citroen C3 is going to cover the market more than Tata Punch? 

Citroen is a French automobile manufacturer and it is one of the most reliable budget car brand present internationally whereas Tata is an Indian automobile manufacturer and the name Tata is broadly known for it's reliability. Tata cars are mainy known for their good and robust build quality in Indian market. 

Citroen C3

Citroen has launched a subcompact SUV C3 which is priced from 5.71 lakhs to 8.06 lakhs ex-showroom.C3 is offered in only 4 variants. It has two petrol engines, the one is 1.2L naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine which produces power of 81 bhp and 115 Nm of torque while another is 1.2L Turbo engine which produces power of 110 bhp and 190 Nm of torque. The main drawback is that it does not comes with a diesel engine and also it has only manual transmissions, no Automatic transmission. Depending upon variant the company claims the mileage of 19.4 to 19.8 kmpl.The 1.2L turbo engine takes only 9.8 seconds to go from 0 to 100 kmph. 

It is a 5-seater car and has length of 3981, width of 1733 and a wheelbase of 2540. The bootspace is of 315 litres. It has 2 airbags and Android Auto, Apple carplay. It does not have electrically adjustable rear view mirrors. It does not have much features. 

Tata Punch

Tata Punch was launched earlier, priced from 5.93 lakhs to 9.49 lakhs ex-showroom. Punch is offered in 22 variants. It has only 1 petrol engine on offer i.e. 1.2L Revotron naturally aspirated 3-cylinder engine which produces the maximum power of 84.5 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. The major drawback is that it does not offers any Turbo or Diesel engine. It gets a 5-speed manual as well as automatic transmission. The company claims the mileage of 18.5 kmpl which is a bit slighter than C3. It takes about 16 seconds to go from 0 to 100 which is not a punchy. 

It is a 5-seater car and length of this car is 3827 which is less than C3, width is 1742 and a wheel base of 2445. The bootspace is of 366 Litres which is big than C3. It also has 2 airbags and Android Auto, apple carplay. It has a good features than C3.

C3 vs Punch

In terms of power and fuel economy it's clear that C3 is a lot better option than Punch. Also C3 is priced bit lower than Punch which makes it great option to go with but C3 does not have automatic transmission which stops the automatic lovers to opt it and it also does not have much features that are offered in Tata Punch. Punch is good in terms of features and it's 90° opening doors are wide enough that you can go in very comfortably but when it comes to power it lacks whereas the safety and build quality of Punch is unbeatable in this segment. Today Punch has a waiting period of more than 6 months which shows that how people's are loving punch. Tata has a many dealerships in India while Citroen does not have much dealerships in India and many people's haven't heard much about the company in India and how does the cars of this company performs which makes it not much trustful and this can be a barrier for Citroen. In case of Tata all the people's in India knows the brand presence and reliability of Tata. If Tata offers a turbo engine in Punch than it could increase the sales of Punch. 

So if you need a powerful sub compact SUV and you do not think much about features than you can go for Citroen which has a lot better performance than Punch but if u want a safe and the features impresses you than you should buy a Punch. And it will be not that easy for Citroen to deacrease the sales of Punch.
