Ducati has introduced Monster SP. Know more about it.
The Italian Bike maker, Ducati has recently showcased new Monster SP which is the updated version of Ducati Monster. Monster SP is a naked, more precised and lightweight than Monster and you can get the experience of most light and compact Ducati ever by riding this model. The SP comes for Sports Production and it is designed especially for tracks.
Engine and Tech spec:
Ducati Monster SP has been powered by 973cc twin-cylinder engine which churns out a power of 111 bhp and peak torque of 93 nm. The streetfighter has a cuts for aerodynamics and the peaky engine enables rider to go quick than others. The engine sits on an aluminium frame due to which vehicle gets lighter and streaks at very small time. 6-speed manual transmission benefited with quick shifter helps the rider to claim the peak power whenever needed.
The great speed and dominant performance needs a spanking breaking system too, so that it can be controlled well. By considering this, brand has equipped 320mm front disc brakes with dual channel ABS, Brembo Stylema callipers and aluminium flanges. The bike is loaded with Ohlins suspension which is fully adjustable and lighter.
Design:
The design of Monster SP is very similar to it's Monster series whereas at front it gets a projector LED headlamps with a bordering of an LED DRL. The new paint scheme looks more sportier and it has been carried from Ducati's MotoGP bike. It is wrapped in combination of red and black color. Going at back, it gets an LED tail lamp with LED turn indicators and termignoni exhaust end can.

The bike rides on Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV light alloy tyres sized 17-inches. The seat height is of 840mm whereas one can reduce it to 810mm. For lightning of whole bike, Lithium-ion has been adopted which reduces around 2kg of bike and bike weighs 185 kg with full tank. To improve the stability while acceleration and cornering, brand has placed steering dampers that helps a lot to enhance the sporting ride.
Ducati Monster SP has riding modes and get cornering ABS that helps to lean better on the curves. It has many features like power modes, traction control and wheelie control too. Bike is fitted with a 4.3 inch TFT display which shows all the information with speed and rpm. USB socket has been offered to get charged anytime and anywhere.
Pricing:
The brand has not revealed the prices of Monster SP yet but we can consider that it can be priced little more than standard one. Ducati hasn't told any plans to launch Monster SP in Indian markets, but considering the whole specifications we can say that it can launched in limited numbers in India.
