Top 10 cars which are going to launch in India this year.
1. Hyundai Tucson
This car is already launched in other countries and hyundai has now planned to launch Tucson in India. It can be a good rival of Citroen C5 and Jeep Compass. The price of the vehicle is starting from 23 lakhs and can go upto 30 lakhs ex-showroom. Hyundai is offering 2 engines in this car i.e. 2.0 L petrol and 2.0 L diesel engine which gives out 190 ps of power. It has an AWD option and ADAS features with a wide panoramic sunroof and has a lot of features yet to be unveiled.
2. Toyota Hyryder
Toyota is going to launch the Hydryder which is an updated version of Urban Cruiser but now it gets a new Hybrid engine of Toyota which can generate power of upto 115 ps. It gets an AWD option also. And it has a lot of new features like sunroof, Android Auto Apple carplay, auto climate control AC, HUD, Ventilated seats and much more. The Toyota is going to put it in a price band of 10 lakhs to 21 lakhs ex-showroom.
3. Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
Maruti is going to launch an all new Grand Vitara which is based on same segment as old Grand Vitara and it is going to get the same engine which is in Hyryder and if we talk about features then it is also going to be same as Hyryder and price of this car is going to start from 10 lakhs and can go upto 19 lakhs ex-showroom. The only new thing in this car is that it comes with a new stunning design with full LED setups at front as well as back and rest is all as same as Hyryder.
4. Hyundai Casper
As Hyundai has discontinued the Santro, so to fulfil that gap Hyundai is planning to launch Casper. Hyundai has already launched the Casper in global markets but it can come to India this year with minor changes in design and can get a 1.0 L petrol engine and also 1.2 L diesel engine. It is a Sub-Compact SUV which can be a rival of Tata Punch, Maruti Ignis and Citroen C3. It can be priced between 6 lakhs to 8.5 lakhs ex-showroom.
5. Hyundai Creta Facelift version
Hyundai can launch a Facelift version of Creta whose front design will be much similar to Tucson and it will get the new ADAS features and Panoramic sunroof with new interior designs. You can get a 1.5 L diesel, 1.5 L petrol and a 1.4 L turbo petrol engine options.
6. Hyundai Ioniq
Hyundai is also going to launch an all new electric SUV Ioniq which is already introduced in global markets but this year it's going to launch in India. It can get a range of 450 to 500 km in a single charge and it can be prices between 34 lakhs to 45 lakhs ex-showroom. It will be an electric rival of Volvo XC 40 type of SUV.
7. Tata Harrier
Tata is going to launch the harrier with minor changes in interior as well as exterior and now it is going to get a petrol engine option which will be a relief for those who were waiting for petrol harrier (but i think that no one is waiting).
8. Tata Safari
Safari is also going to get a new petrol engine with minor updates in exterion to enhance the look of safari. But the fact is that this vehicles are mostly loved in diesel engine only.
9. Toyota Land Cruiser
Toyota is also going to introduce Land Cruiser which already exists in global markets with the name of LC 300. It is a SUV car with good off road capability as Fortuner but it can be priced little more than Fortuner. But Toyota hasn't unveiled any specification of the car yet.
10. Kia Seltos Facelift version
Kia is going to introduce the Facelift version of Seltos which can get the major changes in the front as well as rear design and it can get new type of alloy wheels. Kia is also going to introduce new features in Seltos like ADAS and some safety features as it is trolled a lot in terms of safety.
