Honda is a Japanese auto manufacturer and a leading brand in two-wheeler market, also the company has a good presence and reliability in India. Now Honda has launched a new two-wheeler- CB300F which is a naked bike and the bike has been launched at the starting price of 2.26 lakhs Ex-showroom. The bike has been launched in two variants, Deluxe and Deluxe pro priced at 2.26 lakhs and 2.29 lakhs respectively (Ex-showroom New Delhi). The bike can be booked through the Honda's exclusive showrooms or can be booked online on the Honda's official website.
The motorcycle has been availed in three colour options i.e. Mat Grey Metallic, Mat Marvel Blue Metallic and Sports Red and the Mat Grey Metallic best suites on the bike. The new Honda CB300F gets a full LED setup at front headlight as well as back tail light also the turn indicators are LED so it gives a better look. The instrument cluster of the bike is fully digital and the side mirrors are as usual as other Honda bikes.
The new CB300F is powered with a new 293cc oil-cooled 4-valve SOHC engine that produces the power of 24 bhp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 25nm at 5500 rpm. It gets a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox with assist slipper clutch and selectable torque control, which helps the bike to get stable during slippery conditions. The bike has the Daytime running lights and gets a mobile app connectivity.
In terms of features it gets stand alarm, low fuel indicator, low oil indicator, low battery indicator etc. The bike has pillion stepped seat, pillion footrest and pillion grabrail. The kerb weight of bike is 153kg with the length of 2,084mm, width of 765mm and overall height of 1,075mm. The wheelbase of the vehicle is 1390mm and has a ground clearance of 177mm.
The bike has a diamond chassis type and gets a 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless and radial tyres. It gets a good braking system by placing Disc brakes with Dual-channel ABS on both the tyres. The front brake size is of 276mm and rear one is of 220mm. The Honda CB300F has the front telescopic suspension and at rear it gets a monoshock which gives a comfortable ride even on the bad roads. It has a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres and the mileage is yet to be revealed.
Overall the bike is excellent in styling as well as in performance whereas it looks a bit similar to Hornet. The Managing Director and CEO of Honda Motorcycle India said that the riders in midsize segment and are looking for a fine balance between performance, versatility and modernism. With an aspiration for a dynamic lifestyle, riding community is getting performance oriented and look forward to a big bike experience. And the company is glad to present the all-new CB300F.
