Tata Motors has introduced Prima FL 5530.S, which is the first truck to get ADAS. 

The automaker giant of India- Tata motors, has introduced Prima FL 5530.S which is a Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) and it is the first truck in India to get Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) feature. Also, it is the first truck which is CNG powered and Tata has also launched some new range of products in Intermediate and Light Commercial Vehicle segment, which is going to fullfil the demand in infrastructure and transportation sectors. Tata Prima FL 5530.S is launched at a starting price of Rs 40.32 lakh (Ex-showroom). Truck is powered by 6.7L BS VI engine which produces a maximum power of 300 hp and peak torque of 1100 nm. The vehicle is loaded with 22 tyres while to power this engine Tata has placed 365 Litres of fuel tank. The truck has a maximum speed of 90 km/h and axle configuration of 6×4 with 9-speed manual gearbox, which helps a lot when truck is heavily loaded.

Tata has built it robust and efficient, overall design of the truck looks futuristic and attractive. At front it gets a massive grill in black with logo of Tata embedded in centre of the grill and headlight of the vehicle is placed on the front bumpers which gives it a visionary and tempting look from front. The vehicle is encoded with projector headlamps having LED DRL's with integrated side lamps. Truck is built on ladder type heavy duty frame which enhances the built quality of the truck.
