1. Maruti suzuki Ignis
Ignis is a 5-seater hatchback from Maruti Suzuki and is offered in 7 variants with the price range of Rs 5.35 lakhs and goes upto Rs 7.72 lakhs. The car has only one engine option which is 1.2L petrol engine produces the power of 82 bhp and 113 nm of torque. The engine take out the mileage of 20.5 kmpl and fuel tank capacity is of 32 Litres. 2. Tata Tiago
Tata is the Indian car manufacturer and the sales of Tata is increasing day by day as they are offering the best car in the segments with good build quality and safety ratings. Tata tiago is one of those, the price ranges from 5.40 lakhs to 7.80 lakhs (Ex-showroom). It has an engine of 1199cc which produces power of 82 bhp and gives the mileage of 20 kmpl in petrol whereas you can opt for CNG option which has a mileage of 26 km/kg. It has a good build quality and can be considered as safest car in this segment.
3. Hyundai Grand i10 Nios
Hyundai is Korean company and the company has a good presence in India with great sales figure of their cars. Grand i10 NIOS is priced from 5.39 lakhs to 8.03 lakhs(Ex-showroom). The car is offered in 13 variants with three engine options- 1.2L petrol, 1.0L Turbo engine and 1.2L CNG engine which produces the power of 81.8 bhp and 113 nm of torque in petrol and 69 bhp of power in CNG while the Turbo petrol engine produces the power of 98 bhp. The vehicle gets a mileage of 20.7 kmpl and has a fuel tank capacity of 37 litres. The vehicle has length of 3805mm, width of 1680mm and height of 1520mm with boot space of 260 Litres. The vehicle gets all the features of it's segment and also gets a 4-star rating in global NCAP.
4. Tata Punch
Tata Punch is a mini SUV and is priced from 5.65 lakhs to 9.49 lakhs (Ex-showroom). Punch gets an engine of 1199cc which is as in Tata Tiago and it produces the power of 84.48 bhp and makes a mileage of 18.5 kmpl. It has a height of 1615mm and length of 3827mm also it gets a boot space of 366 litres which is quite good and the vehicle has very good build quality with a 5 star global NCAP rating for an adult which makes it safest car in the segment. Tata has offered a lot of features with 90 degree wide opening doors.
5. Citroen C3
Citroen is a French automobile manufaturer and the company recently entered in an Indian market with it's Citroen C3 whereas it is second car of Citroen in India and it is priced from 5.71 lakhs and goes to 8.06 lakhs (Ex-showroom). The car comes with an engine option of 1.0 L petrol and 1.0L turbo petrol. The Turbo petrol engine produces the power of 109 bhp with 19.4 kmpl of mileage while non-turbo engine produces 81 bhp of power with 19.8 kmpl of mileage. It is a hatchback and has a boot space of 320 Litres which is not much descent and it does comes with many features as offered in it's rivals but the turbo variant is a very fun to drive and when you put down your feet it pulls like a rocket and no car has this much of power under 10 lakhs.

6. Maruti Suzuki Swift
Maruti has an excellent presence in India with top selling cars in India and Swift is one of them. The vehicle is priced from 5.92 lakhs to 8.85 lakhs(Ex-showroom). 8. Renault Kiger
Renault Kiger is a sub-SUV which has a price range from Rs 5.99 lakhs to 10.62 lakhs(Ex-showroom). The car gets a very stunning design and all LED setups at front as well as back. Kiger gets an 999cc Turbo engine which churns out the power of 98 bhp and 152 Nm of torque and takes out the mileage of 18.4 kmpl. The overall length of the vehicle is 3991mm with width of 1750mm. 9. Tata Altroz

The petrol version takes out the mileage of 18.5 kmpl while diesel version takes out 23.4 kmpl of mileage. It has fuel tank capacity of 37 litres and boot space of 345 Litres. The car has overall length of 3990mm, width of 1755mm, height of 1523mm and wheelbase of 2501mm. The car has best in class features and rated 5- star in global NCAP.
10. Bolero Neo
Mahindra has recently launched it's 7-seater SUV- Bolero Neo which is priced from Rs 9.2 lakhs to Rs 11.67 lakhs(Ex-showroom). Neo is offered only in 5 variants and comes with 1.5L diesel engine only. The engine produces 100 bhp of power and 260nm of torque at rear wheels, which is quite good. The company claims mileage of 18 kmpl and fuel tank capacity is of 50 litres. The vehicle has length of 3995mm, width of 1795mm, height of 1817mm and boot capacity of 384 litres when you fold the rear seats. The vehicle gets only 2-airbags but has so many safety features whereas, it is not tested by global NCAP.
